Built in 1780 / Renovated in 2022

Maeve & Patrick McWhinney renovated 1780 House from 2019 - 2022 to become a work space to suit their family needs in the center of historic Concord, Massachusetts.

The original structure was built in 1780, attached to the Elnathan Jones House on what is currently Concord Academy. The entire structure was moved twice, landing in it’s current location in 1850. Over the years it’s been a storefront and home to notable residents. Fill in…

The building received an entire renovation from 2019 - 2022. Intense focus was placed on keeping all elements of the building’s original charm, using as many natural materials as possible like wood, copper, steel, and brick, and making it as beautiful as possible while honoring the history of this important historical home.

The space is now second-floor offices and first-floor studio and gallery space. Maeve has her photography studio - Maeve McWhinney Photography - among the gallery space. The art gallery is open to the public and the space is also available for event rentals.
